The entire procedure included a lot of work on the femur bone, the largest bone in the human body. This needed to be a perfect replication as everything was to be planned according to the composition and density of the actual femur bone.
The Pre Surgical procedure ended up providing a lot of valuable information and reducing the surgery time by atleast 40%. The main surgery was a resounding success and a testament to the ability of our Pre-surgical solution.

As soon as Dr. Maichand shared the data through our secure servers, we converted the data into a 3D model which was 3D printed in record time in one single piece using duper Pro series of 3D Printers.
Apart from providing myriads of information, the pre-surgical procedure gave key details like the inner composition and the density of the femur bone. At the end of the entire procedure Dr. Maichand had a complete picture on how to commence with the surgery.

Using our proprietary technology for Custom 3D Printing 3D Model
Once Dr Maichand shared the MRI and CT data, the 3D model was prepared through our proprietary 3D conversion. It accounts for the complete integrity of the 3D model. We had a 3D model ready now which was duly verified by the doctors.
A Femur bone is 26% of a person’s height. 3D Printing such a large and curved structure was only made possible by duper XCEL range of printers. The dimensions and composition were an exact replication of an actual femur bone.
Pre Surgical Procedure
Dr Maichand commenced with the pre-surgical session to gather all they key elements and information that would be extremely helpful in saving a life. The rehearsal was an astounding success with it revealing important information like which angle to cut the bone and how to drill through it.
